Actions are judged by intentions, and every person will have what they intended. So whoever migrated for Allah and His Messenger, their migration is for Allah and His Messenger; and whoever migrated for worldly gain or to marry a woman, their migration is for what they migrated to.
None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good or remain silent. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should be generous to his neighbour. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should be generous to his guest.
The best among you are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it.
The strong person is not the one who overcomes people by his strength, but the one who controls himself while in anger.
Protect yourself from the Fire even with half a date in charity; and if you cannot find that, then with a kind word.
Islam is built on five: the testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger, establishing the prayer, paying zakat, pilgrimage to the House, and fasting Ramadan.
Fasting is a shield. So when one of you is fasting, he should not behave badly or raise his voice; if someone insults him or fights him, let him say: I am fasting.
A man asked: Messenger of Allah, who is most deserving of my good company? He said: Your mother. The man asked: Then who? He said: Your mother. Then who? Your mother. Then who? Your father.
